We are a small team of engineers with over 14 years of experience across big tech and fintech. We started Orbit Tech because we were tired of watching software get buried under $15/month subscriptions, paywalled features, and pricing models designed to extract as much as possible from people who just need a tool that works.
Our goal is straightforward: build high-quality applications that cost as little as possible to use. We believe that good software does not need to be expensive, and that users should only pay for what they actually use. No flat subscriptions for features you never touch. No premium tiers that lock away basic functionality. No surprise price hikes after you are already invested.
Our first product is OrbitFinance, a personal finance app for iOS. It connects to your bank accounts, tracks your spending, helps you budget, monitors your investments, and gives you AI-powered insights. We built it because every finance app we tried either charged too much, sold our data, or both. We wanted to prove you can build something genuinely useful without nickel-and-diming the people who use it.
Security and privacy are not marketing checkboxes for us. We built OrbitFinance on AWS with encryption at every layer, row-level data isolation, and read-only bank access through Plaid. We never see your bank credentials and we never sell your data. These are not features, they are the bare minimum, and we treat them that way.
